To apprise students about the culture, cuisine and customs of the state of Nagaland, a special assembly was conducted. The students gave an introduction about the history and origin of the state, followed by a traditional Naga dance of the womenfolk. They also showcased handcrafted art and craft items like flower pots, tribal paintings and bamboo baskets. An informative video on the ‘Hornbill Festival’ was also shown to the children. The assembly concluded with ‘Bamboo dance’ performed by the students.
