About Conference
Public services are the backbone of any functioning society. Defined as activities and services performed by the government in any capacity for the public interest, they encompass a range of essential services provided by the government to ensure the well-being of its citizens. In an era of rapid technological advancements, increasing citizen expectations, and complex socio-economic challenges, the delivery and impact of public services are under intense scrutiny and, hence, become essential for further deliberations.
Amity Institute of Public Policy (AIPP) is organizing its Annual International Conference on Public Policy (ICoPP’25) to provide a platform for students, researchers, academicians and industry personnel from various fields to debate and share insights into our changing world, its effects on mankind and the policy interventions and implications. The conference strives to enable a diverse discussion on reshaping and advancing public services with adapted policies, their delivery and consequentially, their impact, which would provide beneficial knowledge to the attendees.
The increasing intensity of collective problems and social needs and growing demand for cheaper yet better public services have pushed developed and developing countries to view public policy as vital to navigating challenges concerning the widening economic inequalities and improvement in human capital. Citizens of developing countries depend on the essential services provided by the government due to reasons like the absence of a market for these services or abject poverty. Therefore, the role of the state becomes essential. In this context, public policy must go beyond simple innovation ‘recipes’ and evaluate the configurations, contingencies, and complexities leading to sustainable innovation in public services. There is a need to initiate dialogue and an effective knowledge exchange between research and policy to foster innovation in public services.
The conference invites academicians, research scholars, and corporate/industry executives to submit:
- Research Paper (qualitative/quantitative/mixed)
- Literature Review
- Case Study
- Conceptual paper
