Amity Institute of Environmental Science (AIES) is an interdisciplinary Centre of learning with objective to excel
in the field of Environmental Science and Technology, established as a part of Amity University Uttar Pradesh,
Noida. Environment plays a vital role in the well-being and prosperity of our planet and its inhabitants.
Recognizing this, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have emerged as a comprehensive framework to address
the urgent environmental challenges we face today. The SDGs encompass a range of goals and targets aimed at
achieving sustainable development in an inclusive and holistic manner.
This involves promoting sustainable practices that minimize waste generation, reduce pollution, and
conserve natural resources. By preserving these natural habitats and their biodiversity, we safeguard
essential ecosystem services, such as clean air and water, climate regulation, and the provision of
