Atulasha was established in the year 2011 to educate boys from the economically weaker sections of the society. Presently, it provides over 500 boys’ schooling, uniform, books and stationery, nutrition and transport, right from Nursery to Class VIII. The schools strive to provide quality education to the students that come from the lower income group, such as daily wage earners and construction workers who are living in nearby.
The students receive exposure in different extra-curricular activities and get an opportunity to interact and take part in the programs aimed at creating sensitization on various social issues and environmental concerns, conducted by students of various Amity University institutions. This makes them self-confident and helps in realizing their potential in both extra-curricular activities as well as academics.
Apart from this, regular physical training by experienced instructors from the Amity Cadet Corps makes them physically strong and instills discipline. The students are also encouraged to attend remedial / special classes to strengthen the areas in which they are lagging behind. Special coaches are appointed to train the boys in various sports of their choice during summer vacation.
Most of the teachers at these schools are from the nearby villages. It is an added advantage as they are sensitive about the students’ socio-economic backgrounds. They are also in the know of the difficulties impacting their learning capabilities. Hence, they are in a better position to deliver the teaching-learning material accordingly.
The students are also provided with nutritious meals every day. They are given both summer and winter uniforms, shoes, books and stationery and they have access to a well-equipped computer lab with the guidance of a qualified computer teacher.

We had earlier sent our children to private schools thinking that they will get good education even though we can’t afford the fees but after watching the students of Atulasha school and the quality education they are getting we decided to send our children to Atulasha.
When my child told me he is learning computers in school I worried how I will arrange the money for these classes, the way neighborhood children going to computer institutes pay hefty fees. I am so glad and grateful to the school for teaching computers free of cost.
Now I don’t have to worry about packing their lunch and dropping them to school as Atulasha provides everything from meals to transportation. I am happy that my children are studying in English medium -
I could never dream of sending my children to an English-medium school.
We are always happy to connect with those who want to make a positive difference in society.
