Evaluation
The evaluation of the students will be done on the basis of two factors. The factors and their weightage are as given below:

Internal Assessment
Assignments: Students are required to do three assignments per subject (issued along with Student Study Materials) during each semester. These are structured to test the Comprehension and application of learning acquired through the reading material provided by the Institute at the beginning of the session.
Project Work: The Project work equips candidates with practical application of knowledge and skills relevant to their area of study. All students are required to do project work under the guidance of a project guide and submit a project report on completion within the stipulated date.
End Term Examination (ETE)
End Term Examination is held twice in a year, normally in the month of June & December. All students are required to qualify in ETE.

Grades
- Students have to score 30% as passing marks in each assignments as well as Examinations and Aggregate should be 40%.
- Students should secure a minimum Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) of 5. Students should also secure Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.5 at the end of UG programme and 6 at the end of PG Integrated programme.
Qualifying criteria
- To qualify in examination a student must obtain the following Marks.
- Minimum 30% marks in External Assessment (End Term Examination – ETE).
- Minimum 30% marks in Internal Assessment.
- Minimum 40% overall aggregate i.e. both Internal Assessment & External Assessment put together.
