Amity School Of Engineering And Technology concluded the 2 week FDP on 16th December 2016 successfully. This workshop commenced in the month of November and extended upto 16th December in two slots. 18 participants from various institutes from Mumbai and Pune registered for this workshop. Total 40 participants actively participated in this workshop. The event had representation from various schools of Amity University Mumbai.
The first session was conducted by Dr. Ashok Deshpande, Founding Chair, Berkeley Initiative in Soft Computing. The second session was conducted by Dr. Vivek Vijay, IIT, Jodhpur. The sessions mainly focused on the practical applications of Probability and Statistics in real life. The hands on training on R programming for data analysis were focused during the FDP.
Both the sessions were well received by the audience. The objective of the FDP was achieved well by the diversified participants.
