The School’s campus placement programme for each graduating batch ensures that all students secure good career opportunities both in industry and development organizations. The School provides opportunities for interaction between students and representatives of development organizations and industry to assist placement.
100 percent placement is assured for eligible students in corporate Sector, public Sector, NGOs and Training/Research institution, NABARD, KRIBCO, IFFCO, NAFED, Commercial Banks, Microfinance Institutions, World Bank, ADB, DFID, GTZ, UNICEF and several other national/ international agencies working in rural sector. The School has very excellent placement record so far.

“HOPE 2010”


A NEW AGE, A NEW WAY, A NEW HOPE




A workshop (HOPE 2010) on “Scope of Rural Development in India” was organized in Feb. 2010 to create awareness among today’s youth about the need for development of the rural areas of the country. Ankita Anand, Secretary, National Campaign for People’s Right to Information addressed the gathering and discussed the salient features of Right to Information Act, 2005.

Workshop on “Role of Voluntary Organisation in Rural Development” was organized in February 2009 with Mr. Hakim Khan, Director General, CAPART as chief guest. Dignitaries form ActionAid, CAPART, GFDR and other Development Organizations participated in the event.

Management Support Programme on SHG & Microfinance was conducted in June; 2010.Officials from The Full Gospel trust of India, a reputed NGO of Delhi and students of MBA (RM) attended this workshop. Another Management Support Programme on Rural Women Empowerment was held in July, 2010.

Field Visits and Summer Training


Students are frequently taken on field visits in rural areas and acquaint them with about the problems of these areas. Each student has to do internship with the industry and development organizations for a period of 6 and 8 weeks.

Scope for Rural Managers

Rural Managers are working in banks, food businesses, agri-businesses, insurance companies and supply chains, etc. and this demand is growing day by day. Industry, development organizations, Co-operatives & NGOs need people with management skills who have their heart in the right place and can understand the pulse of rural people as well as the world of commerce. Most of the MNCs are going rural for increasing their business volume. Government is also increasing its expenditure to improve rural infrastructure and attract Industries towards rural areas.
