Amity Business School , Manesar (ABSM) was established in the year 1999 under the aegis of Ritnand Balved Education Foundation ( RBEF) with a dream of turning it into an institution par excellence, which would be reckoned with in the field of management education.
Spread over a sprawling 110 acres amidst Aravelli hills at Manesar, Gurgaon, ABSM provides students an ambience to learn, to grow and mature into leaders capable of shouldering the responsibilities of future.
ABSM has an immense range of academic resources and facilities in support of postgraduate studies. Academic services at ABSM are the Corporate Resource Centre, Information System Services, Language Centre, Library, Seminar Hall, Syndicate Rooms, etc.

The Library
 The library is an invaluable source of information for the students. Besides subscribing to a large number of periodicals, journals (more than 60), government and corporate reports, it has a comprehensive collection of 6808 books on management and allied disciplines besides about 300 CDs, DVDs to allow avid readers to go beyond the course matter and read more on the areas of interest. To cater to the needs of the use, a photocopy counter operates within the library premises. The library is duly computerized.

The Classrooms
 The classrooms provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussion between the students and the faculty. Interactive learning is augmented by sophisticated audio-visual aids and advanced presentation tools. This is the place for curriculum analysis and application. |

COMPUTER
LAB
 The state-of-art computer lab is another feather in the cap of ABS, Manesar. The Compute Lab consists of more than 68 networked Hewlett-Packard computers. All the computers are equipped with latest versions of various softwares including those present in the course. This lab satisfies the twin objectives of:
- Providing students the IT skills demanded in the ever-changing corporate scenario.
- Creating an environment for sharing information and learning in electronic format by the creation of Virtual Private Network by providing Internet facilities.

Corporate Resource Centre
• The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) at ABSM is the platform that brings the industry and Business School students and faculty together to provide an insight into current management practices in the industry.
• Management Development Programmes, Guest Lectures by practicing managers, corporate CEOs and entrepreneurs are arranged by CRC.

The Language Centre
The Language Centre includes teaching room, books and practice literature required in special purpose language teaching. At present the centre runs German language course for the students. It also offers training in Business English and runs a wide range of short specialized courses.

Seminar Hall
For events of smaller scale, the Seminar hall is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It is a spacious and formal enclosure for gathering of around 150 people..

Syndicate Rooms
An ability to work as a team is a critical skill in the corporate arena, which the ABSM student learn to master in the syndicate room. At ABSM, emphasis is not only given on communication skills but also on frequent brain-storming sessions, discussion on subject related issues and learning team dynamics, important to survive the pressures of the Corporate world.

Residential Accommodation
There is no end to work at ABSM. After studies, students find comfortable place to rest and prepare for the challenges of the next day. Though Institute has its own hostel facilities but because of lack of urban environment at the Amity Education Valley, which is under development, the students prefer to arrange their accommodation at Gurgaon for which the Institute provides organizational support by arranging accommodation for both boys and girls separately. The security arrangements are made by the Institute. The rooms are well furnished, airy, with adequate bathrooms, proper house keeping facilities, and a number of other amenities as well.
While lodging cost is at present around Rs.11,000/- per semester, the boarding is on cooperative basis. The charges may vary from semester to semester. |

Sports Facilities
Students have the option of indulging in the sport of their choice for an overall development. The Olympic size running track, the football ground, the basketball and badminton court, are few among many other sport structures where students can hone their physical skills.

Along with the library, the Institute has a big reading room with adequate seating capacity to provide students with a congenial environment to study.

The Institute has two common rooms, one for the Boys and another for Girls, having facilities of some indoor games and magazines, etc.

Cafeteria
The multi-ethnic tastes of students are catered to within the bustling atmosphere of the multi cuisine cafeteria. Serving variety of snacks and meals. The cafeteria is the ideal shot for holding discussions, both academic & personal. The fresh and hot meals for the students are made available at reasonable prices. The contract for the canteen has been leased out to a reputed contractor.

Medical Facilities
There is a separate medical room with attached toilet. It has got first-aid box, routine medicines and medical equipments .The students are got insured with Insurance Co. for mediclaim on nominal payment.

Transport Facility
For those students who are interested in availing transport facility for commuting to and fro to the institute, the institute provides organizational support by arranging busses for the purpose, on ‘No Profit, No Loss’ basis. The present charges are Rs. 6,500/- per semester per student (for traveling from Gurgaon to Institute and back). The charges may vary from semester to semester. |

Counselling
At Amity, the age-old ‘Guru Shishya Parampara’ continues to thrive with the unique mentor-mentee concept, wherein a group of 10-15 students are assigned to a faculty members. As mentors they share the rich pool of their academic knowledge and hands-on industry experience with their Shishya. Developing leadership qualities, bringing out latent talents, addressing personal and academic issues and acting as their friend -philosophers-guides.

Military Training
Students at ABS, Manesar have to undergo compulsory military training as a part of their personality development programme. During the fully residential programme students imbibe qualities of team spirit, leadership skills, patriotism, commitment and perseverance, by participating in activities like trekking, shooting to test their mental capabilities and Physical endurance resilience.
