·Application for the below mentioned positions are required in the areas of Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and in Science in Physics & Mathematics

The Faculty shall be responsible for carrying out Teaching, Academic & Industrial Research, Constancy, Designing & Development of Laboratories etc.

* One Professor of Broad Based Electrical Engg. To handle common subjects of different branches.

** One Asst. Professor of Broad Based Electrical Engg. To handle common subjects of different branches.

*** Two Lecturers of Broad Based Electrical Engg. To handle common subjects of different branches.

Qualifications  and Experience

As per AICTE norms for the above  tabulated posts

1.   Engineering & Technology Disciplines

Professor :

Qualification : Ph.D Degree with first Class  degree at Bachelors  or Master's level in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology

Qualification & Experience for candidates from Industry & Profession : Candidates from Industry/ Profession with  Class Master's degree in Engineering / Technology and with professional work  which is  significant  and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D degree and with 10 years expenses of which at least 5 years should be at Senior level comparable to that of an Assistant Professor  would also be eligible.

And

Professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D Degree and with 10 years experience of which at least 5 years should be at a Senior Level comparable to that of an Assistant Professor would also be eligible.

Experience : 10 years experience in Teaching / Industry / Research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor and /or equivalent.

or

Candidates with exceptional experience of minimum of 10 years in Industry with proven record of academic excellence and R & D with good number of publications.

Assistant Professor :

Qualification : Ph.D Degree with first Class  degree  at Bachelors or Master's  level in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology .

Qualification & Experience for candidates from Industry & Profession : Candidates from Industry/ Profession with  first Class Bachelors  degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology  

or

First class Master's degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.

And

Professional work which is significant and can be recognized  as equivalent to Ph.D Degree and with 5 years experience, would also be eligible

Experience : 3 years experience in Teaching/ Industry /Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent.

or

Candidates with exceptional experience of minimum 5 years in Industry with proven record of academic excellence and R & D with good number of publications.

Lecturer :

Qualification: First Class Bachelors  degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology

or

First Class Master's degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.

Experience : No minimum requirement

2.     HUMANITIES AND SCIENCES

Professor

Qualification : Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at Master's level and Ph. D Degree in appropriate branch of Humanities and Sciences ( Desirable : Post-Doctoral work in appropriate branch of Humanities and Sciences.)

Experience : 10 Years experience of which at least 5 years should be at Senior level comparable to that of an Asst. Professor in Post Graduate teaching, and / or experience in the research at the University / National level institutions including experience of guiding research at Doctoral level.

Assistant Professor :

Qualification : Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at Master's level and Ph. D Degree in the relevant subject.

Experience : 5 Years experience in teaching and / or Research excluding the period spent for obtaining the Degree and has made some mark in the area of Scholarship as evidenced  by quality of publications, contribution to educational innovation, design of new course and curricula.

Lecturer :

Qualification : Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at Master's level  in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University.  Besides fulfilling the above qualification candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.

Experience :  No minimum requirement.

Note : If a Grade Point system is adopted the CGPA will be converted into equivalent marks as given below  :
