The aim of the department is to make every student – “A success story”, by helping them to be ethical leaders who can manage and lead changes across diverse organizations. Popularly known as “City of Waterfalls”, Ranchi is the capital of Jharkhand. Ranchi is a popular educational destination for students of Bihar, Jharkhand, and some parts of West Bengal as well. It also boasts of the head offices of some crucial government organizations like HEC, CCL and SAIL. It is also known for quality sports infrastructure as there are plenty of international level stadiums for different kind of sports.

About the Conference

The International Conference would be held on the theme of changing perspectives in Management due to the recent turbulences caused in the business environment by Covid-19 pandemic. The Conference is aimed to deliberate on the changing perspectives in the broad field of Management and Social Science. It will provide a platform for sharing knowledge related to various aspects of managerial decision making and the challenges enabling the decisions. It is expected that the Conference will be able to provide guidelines to the various organizations and institutions for adopting a holistic approach in their operations and strategies.

Objectives of Conference

The objective is to share insights of various stakeholders towards the shift in the management perspective. It will stipulate a stage for sharing information related to various aspects of managerial decision making- the challenges enabling the decision, the consequences, the changing work practices, innovative business models, changing human resource practices, issues in organization behaviour, factors related to corporate governance or sustainability and impact of technology. It will also provide the premier interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the fields of Management and Social Science.
