About ACER, R&D Cell

Research and Development cell has been established at Amity University Jharkhand, Ranchi to inculcate research and innovative skills among faculty and students. In all disciplines of technical education, knowledge is dynamic with new technologies being introduced very frequently. As researchers, they need to understand the past and recent developments in their respective subject areas.

Amity Centre of Excellence for Research (ACER) under R&D Cell, AUJ provides a platform for creativity and innovation to flourish young minds in Institute. Innovative breakthroughs will happen only because of meticulous efforts of R&D. The Institute provides information and support to facilitate basic common research infrastructure for individuals to execute collaborative work.

About the FDP:

Research forms an integral part of the education process. For every academician and faculty member, research holds an important place. The main objective of the proposed FDP is to nurture the research aptitude and competency development of the young faculty members, either doing research or planning to undertake research work. The FDP aims to provide a platform to faculty members to enrich their teaching & learning process. The Programme also intended to develop the knowledge of participants with advanced tools to undergo research. This FDP will provide the road map to the faculty members and scholars, in order to understand the challenges and recent research trends in information science. Also, it will enhance their knowledge towards research guidance and publications. Moreover, it will enlighten their overall academic skills according to the current scenario.

Objectives of the FDP:

  1. To facilitate up-gradation of knowledge, skills and thinking abilities of scholars and teachers.
  2. To improve the performance of faculty members in education and research.
  3. To provide in-depth knowledge about the latest trends in research, especially with reference to IPR.
  4. To acquaint the faculty members about the challenges in the field of research and ways to cope with it.
  5. To promote research among faculty members, academicians, and scholars.
