INFRASTRUCTURE

Amity Institute of Physiotherapy has excellent infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms designed to accommodate and allow maximum possible interaction between teachers and students. Faculty make use of modern teaching aids for delivering lectures and computer laboratories are available for the students.

CLINICAL TRAINING

Amity institute of physiotherapy has attachments with various multispecialty private and government hospital in Delhi / NCR for imparting practical training to our students. We also have provision of In-house training through Physiotherapy OPD located within its campus.

RESEARCH WORK

Research work is emphasized and imparted from third semester onward for BPT students till the completion of the 9th semester as non-teaching credit courses (NTCC) in the form of summer training, minor project, major project and case studies. The MPT program research work include case studies, field work and dissertation under the supervision of faculty members. This has been incorporated in the curriculum in sync with Education 4.0.

GUEST LECTURES /SEMINARS/WORKSHOPS

Institute conduct seminars and workshops at regular intervals for keeping our students uploaded with all latest information regarding Health sciences and Physiotherapy. We invite eminent speakers from India and abroad to deliver the best of their knowledge and skills to our students.

FACULTY AND STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Our faculty has visited Lulea University, Sweden under faculty exchange program and has gained exposure of cross-cultural physiotherapy expertise. Faculty and students of Maryvilleuniversity USAas well as Lulea University visited AIPT and shared their knowledge and skills in respective fields of interest.

LABS

AIPT has fully equipped labs of Anatomy, Physiology, Electrotherapy and Exercise Therapy and Research lab for the practical training of our students. These labs follow safety procedures and are regularly updated with the latest equipments( ECG with heart rate variability , EMG ,NCV , EP,Biofeedback , PFT, Balance Analyzer)and modalities for providing world class education and opportunities for research.

LIBRARY

Leading Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation magazines, journals and books to cover the student’s professional needs are available at the AIPT library. In addition, the students also have access to the well-equipped Central library at the University campus.

RESIDENTIAL HOSTELS

The Amity institute of physiotherapy provides assistance to students in getting residential facility. Amity Campus, Noida offers separate hostel facility for boys and girl. Priority is given to students from outstations.

WIRELESS CAMPUS

Amity has its own 1 MBPS radio link for internet and intranet connectivity for 24 hours fast and easy access. The Amity Noida campus is also the first Wireless Campus in India.

SPORTS AND EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Amity Noida campus has an Olympic size Running Track, Cricket Ground, Basketball, Tennis, Volley Ball and Badminton Courts, as well as Horse Riding facilities. Facilities for Billiards and Table Tennis are also available at the students’ hostels.Students get ample opportunity to showcase their talents and sports skills during annual events like Sangathan and youth festival.
