Last Friday(24/3/2017), the Human Value Quarter team had organised a visit to the orphanage which named "Bal Sahyog Orphanage "that was located in Connaught Place ,New Delhi .The trip was comprised of 25 members . We board metro to the destination and arrived at about 2:30 pm in the afternoon. Our arrival was greeted by few of the little cute children and some of the caretakers. They looked so happy when they saw us. They cheered happily and welcomed us with opened arms. All of us were surprised with their response. The event was started off with a short opening speech by the Co-coordinator on Gender Equality Like why it is important? Secondly , How it can be achieved? Then, we also gave out the Ice creams and presents that we had brought to all the children( Some Stationary items) as gifts. They looked so ecstatic and were in a high glee. After that, we played games with the little children there such as short racing games, some fun tasks , singing and dancing competitions etc. We had a lot of fun and the children enjoyed themselves very well. They seemed to have a nice time with us. Soon, it was time to leave. Everyone had a great time and this event was a success. Before we went back to Institute, we gave each of the little cute children a bear hug. We hope to visit another home again .
