Ruhanie Bhatia (B.Tech + M.Tech Biotechnology (Dual), 2018 Passout) Associate Consultant, IQVIA, Gurugram, Haryana
My time at Amity Institute of Biotechnology was a well-rounded Journey that grew my knowledge not just in this domain but in all aspects of life. Some of my fondest memories, toughest feedback, and most rewarding struggles came from my experiences at AIB. From getting to choose from an array of additional subjects outside the course every semester, to an exposure to non-curricular activities, AIB prepared me for the practical realm before entering the job market, allowing me to hit the ground running and have success in various roles so far. I am also extremely grateful for the opportunity to lead the Student Body as a representative of the Literary Society which polished my Oratory and Management Skills, helping me grab a client-facing role, in the 2nd week of my career journey. To conclude, AIB not only gave me an indispensable education but also taught me to think on my feet, seek out knowledge and never settle for less than my best effort.
Mr. Charan Pasupuleti (B.Tech Biotechnology, 2018 Passout) Director of Business Operations, KamTek. Inc., Maryland, USA
Attending Amity was a game-changer for me, shaping my future and boosting my skills, both technical and personal. AIB professors were always keen to hear my thoughts on different research topics and were very encouraging and supportive. Diversified challenges at Amity gave me confidence and abilities to aim high, landing me a spot at Johns Hopkins University for my master’s degree. Plus, I had the awesome opportunity to work with some amazing professors at AIB, publishing research papers and even a granted patent. AIB truly set me up for success, and I'm forever grateful for that!"

As a former Amity University student, I can honestly say that my time there played a pivotal role in shaping my career as a biotechnologist and entrepreneur. My name is Rohit Chauhan, and today, I stand proudly holding a Master's degree in Biodiversity & Environmental Health from University of Siena, Italy and a recently secured 20 lakh grant from Amity Innovation Incubator under Startup India Seed Fund scheme initiative. Looking back, I realize the seeds of these achievements were sown during my undergraduate years at Amity. Today, I'm living proof of the transformative power of Amity University. It's not just an institution; it's a nurturing ground where dreams take shape and ambitions are realized. To any aspiring biotechnologist or entrepreneur, I say this: If you seek a university that pushes boundaries, empowers individuals, and fosters innovation, then Amity University is your launchpad.
Abishek Arora (B.Sc (Hons) Medical Biotechnology, 2016 Passout) Postdoctoral Researcher, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden
I am a clinical neuroscientist who is interested in understanding how the brain develops and how this in turn shapes our health. I warmly remember my foundational years at Amity, where I received my bachelor’s in medical biotechnology (2012 – 2016). It was an enriching experience, both academically as well as socially, by learning together with dedicated professors and an enthusiastic group of peers. With the help of some of our wonderful professors, it was then that I nurtured my passion for the brain and interest in becoming a biomedical researcher. It is also where I partly drew my motivation to continue in academia, first moving to the University of Oxford for my master’s and then to Karolinska Institutet for my doctorate. I shall fondly cherish my memories of Amity for life!

Ms. Parul Chugh (M.Tech Biotechnology, 2021 Passout) BIRAC BIG Innovator, Delhi
Studying at Amity University was one of the best decisions I made for my higher education and career. The strong foundation in biotechnology helped me gain admission to the prestigious University of Cambridge for my master's degree. I was awarded the Lucy Cavendish College Studentship, a merit-based scholarship, for pursuing the Bioscience Enterprise master’s program at Cambridge. The research skills I developed at Amity also enabled me to secure the highly competitive Khorana Scholarship in 2018 while still an undergraduate student. This scholarship supported me to undertake summer research at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA. This early research exposure in the US helped strengthen my CV. My experience with hands-on research projects at Amity gave me the skills and confidence to apply for the prestigious BIRAC BIG grant as an entrepreneur. I was 1 of the top 10 awardees out of over 2000 applicants across India, receiving $70,000 for developing an indigenous cholesterol-lowering probiotic. This entrepreneurial journey enabled high career growth. The strong technical foundation and research skills developed at Amity University helped fast-track my career, opening opportunities like studying at Cambridge, research in the US, working with Invest India, and becoming one of the youngest BIRAC BIG grantee. I am grateful to Amity University for playing a crucial role in my achievements so far.
