The recent developments in this decade including High-Speed Internet, Mobile Devices, and Artificial Intelligence opened new opportunities in the field of Information Technology. At present Amity Institute of Information Technology (AIIT) School is running two years Post Graduate program MCA. The department is running two Undergraduate programs BCA & B.Sc. (IT). AIIT established in 2015, with an aim to facilitate Information Technology & Computer Science Education and cutting-edge technologies to familiarize and equip young minds to meet global challenges in innovation, application of technology and entrepreneurship.

The school has special focus on the motivating students for the Innovation, Intellectual property, and research activities to solve the potpourri challenging applications in the field of science and technology. The courses included in the UG, and PG Curriculum cover the essential Development and Operations tools to make the student ready to work in the IT Industry.

The curriculum of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate program in the school are industry ready and designed by considering the employability factor for the students. The courses are designed by considering the hype cycle for the emerging technologies, and mostly based on the slope of enlightenment and productivity. Due to highly qualified, experienced faculty members meticulously execute the learning methodologies. The school has systematic strategy to take regular feedback about the curriculum enrichment from the industry leaders and practitioners to find the uncovered folds and dynamics of the industry requirements.

The school created technology assisted the teaching-learning environment using the Learning Management System (LMS). The faculty members use excellent pedagogy tools and techniques for effective knowledge transfer, in synchronous and asynchronous teaching and learning. The school refines the curriculum of all the programs to match the skillset and recent advancements in the field of IT.

Various programs offered by AIIT have an inclusion of the summer internship after completion of the second year. The summer internship provides an opportunity to enhance the profiles of the students, and necessary exposure to the industry. The CRC Placement cell of AUM provides all the support and opportunities for summer internships.
