Amity Institute of Behavioral & Allied Sciences (AIBAS) at Amity University Mumbai was established in 2015 with the vision to create trained human resources in the fields demanding behavioural understanding and interventions. The school employs effective teaching learning environment in the core curriculum through continuous integration of training, field exposure, observations, and research.
Amity Institute of Behavioral & Allied Sciences (AIBAS) IQAC is a student body established in the AIBAS department which works primarily for the welfare of the students and the department. Their work entails planning and organising events that are informative and engaging, also majorly targeted towards the students to improve their mental wellbeing. The AIBAS-IQAC is headed by the core team comprising of a President, Vice president, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer. They are guided by a group of associates and supported by teams handling executive work, event management and social media. Some of the recent work of IQAC includes organising workshops on social and psychology issues as well as the infamous VIBAS, a fun session to help students deal with burnout every month.
MUN (MODEL UNITED NATIONS) is an academic event that covers diplomacy and international relations. Here, faculty and students both actively participate in research work; students develop speaking, debating, and writing skills. Students participating in Model United Nations must take a stand with their opinions, overcome challenges, make decisions and work as a leader. Model United Nations include debates and finding resolutions with some negotiations, this platform helps students to interact with new students and present their opinions in front of them. The solutions drafted by various committees at MUN can be employed to United Nations.
