International Workshop on Translation Studies: Culture, Media, and Demographic Expanse

Translation Studies has recently gained a lot of traction in the literary arena both as a subject of interest and area of exploration. With globalization on the exponential rise, the inclination towards learning new languages and establishing a comparative study have become quite common to say the least

Mother Language is the microcosm of many languages learnt by being in his/her life. Relating those grassroot relation by translating original native works in multiple Languages creates a “Vasudev Kutumbkam”

“A great age is the reflection of translations from native language to global languages.” Prof. (Dr.) KumKum Ray

This workshop is anchored towards the undeniable significance of translation studies in multidisciplinary areas of knowledge neatly a great sense of self pride in nationalist flavour and favour.

Translation is a form with much load on its structure because it is expected to be both comprehensible for its target audience and faithful to its origins. Translation is the exercise of extending the life of a text and giving it new meanings and interpretations, which come with new readers. In the process of translation and transformation, the original finds newer avenues for language and becomes a dynamic entity accepted in different cultures and realms. Language has the power to move and navigate, and it is the task of translation studies to show it the way
