Amity School of Fine Arts, Amity University Lucknow Campus, had inaugurated its 4th National Art Exhibition Kala Darpan 2019 by Dr. R.S. Pundheer, Chairman, Lalit Kala Academy, Lucknow on 6th March2019 at 11:30 am, at Art Gallery of Amity Lucknow Campus. The chief guest was accompanied by Dr Sunil Dhaneshwar, Pro VC, Amity Lucknow Campus and Prof Pooja Verma, Director, Amity School of Fine Arts & Amity School of Fashion Technology, Amity Lucknow Campus.
The exhibits are artistically displayed in the Campus Art Gallery from 6th to 8th March 2019. The three-day Exhibition displayed the multi-faceted approach of various participating artist, through their creative and innovative methods to create unique art forms in different mediums.
More than 250 art works received from 90 participants, from different states like Delhi, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Chandigarh and U.P. itself. Apart from participants from NIFT Delhi, Government College of Arts and Craft, Kolkata, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Dr. Shakuntala Mishra Rehabilitation University, Lucknow, Shubharti Univrersity, Meerut, Teerthankar Mahaveer University Moradabad, Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow etc exciting no of amateur, freelance and self taught artists have also participated in different categories like Drawing, Painting, Photography and Digital Art
The entries were judged on 28th Feb 2019 by Panel of Eminent artist consisting Dr. Bhupesh C. Little, Assistant Professor and Head Photography, College of Arts and Craft, University of Lucknow, Dr. Umesh Saxena, Associate Professor Department of Painting, College of Arts and Craft, University of Lucknow, Mr. Sunil Lal, Visualizer / Proprietor Alpna Arts, Lucknow.
