Mentored by Prof.(Dr.) Kum Kum Ray Ma’am, Director ASL, the Dramatics Club- Mimesis presented its first full-fledged production ‘Chakravhyu’ on the third day of the Annual Fest of Amity University, Amiphoria. The play explored the issue of man’s existential boundaries in the ‘Chakravhyu’ or the endless circle of life from which an exit is not possible. Our mentor Prof. (Dr.)Kum Kum Ray Ma’am, sat back in pride as her dream of bringing forth intellectual content through active theatre by encouraging and kajoling her own students and preparing them for the bigger drama of life, took shape on stage, which ended up with a thunderous applause and a standing ovation from the audience.
