A group of students from MCA (V) semester, Amity Institute of Information Technology (AIIT), Amity University, Rajasthan, Rajat Jain, Riddhi Sharma, Raghav Bang, Aiysha Adiba, Suresh Soni, has recently completed a project that dealt with maintaining e-voting process. Funded by Department of Science & Technology (DST), Rajasthan, under its Student Project Programme-2017-18, the project was appreciated by one and all. Under this digital process voters can exercise their franchise by using e-voting application installed on their cell phones. Staying true to the spirit of ‘Digital India’ voters can make the most of technology as well as avoid the physical labour of standing in a queue to cast their votes. The project was closely guided by Dr. Ramesh C. Poonia, Associate Professor, Amity University, Rajasthan.
