Welcome to Amity Institute of Pharmacy (AIP), which is an esteemed institution within the vibrant academic community of Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur, accredited with a NAAC A+ grade. Established in 2023, AIP stands as a beacon of excellence in pharmaceutical education, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of pharmacists and scientists.

Our mission at AIP is to shape the future of pharmacy by providing a comprehensive educational experience that integrates cutting-edge research, practical training, and professional development. With a capacity of 60 students each year, AIP offers a demanding 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) degree program that has received approval from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Our curriculum is designed to provide a holistic understanding of pharmaceutical sciences, covering diverse disciplines such as pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmacognosy, medicinal chemistry, and pharmaceutical biotechnology.

Our faculty members are distinguished experts in their respective fields to provide students mentorship, guidance, and support throughout their academic journey. With state-of-the-art facilities, including well-equipped laboratories, a central instrumentation facility, digital/conventional library, and modern classrooms, we ensure that students have access to the resources they need to excel.

Beyond academics, AIP emphasizes the importance of practical training and hands-on experience. Through internships, research projects, and industry collaborations, we provide students with real-world exposure, preparing them for successful careers in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

Moreover, AIP is committed to facilitate holistic growth and development to meet the demand of various industry and allied healthcare sectors. We provide comprehensive support under the student resource centre (SRC) for their accommodation, hostel, cafeteria services.

The Corporate Resource Centre at Amity University offers specialized support for students pursuing careers in the pharmaceutical industry. Infrastructure & Facilities

Amity Institute of Pharmacy is a premier academic and research institute with world-class infrastructure and facilities that follow the norms laid down by the Pharmacy Council of India.

The institute’s laboratories are well-equipped with sophisticated instruments and equipment, creating a very conducive atmosphere for practicals and research. HPLC, UV-Visible Double Beam Spectrophotometer, Flame Photometer, Polarimeter, Abbe’s refractometer, Dissolution Test Apparatus USP, Ultra-centrifuge, BOD incubator, Brookfield’s Viscometer, Digital Balances, Digital Plethysmometer, Analgesiometer, Rotarod, Tablet Punching Machine, Tablet Coating Machine, Friability Tester, Tablet Disintegrator, Laminar Flow, Spray Dryer, RT-PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, Elisa, optical and confocal microscopes are the important instruments and equipment that have created a very enriched atmosphere for quality research.

The Herbal Garden is situated in the campus and has a collection of more than 100 plants of medicinal importance, some of which are very rare.

Programmes

Bachelor of Pharmacy

Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 Physics, Chemistry + Math/Biology with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Duration: 4 years (Total of 8 semesters)

Selection Process: Direct admission based on eligibility criteria.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (Lateral)

Eligibility Criteria: D. Pharm passed out with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Duration: 3 years (Total of 6 semesters)

Selection Process: Direct admission (Lateral Entry) based on eligibility criteria
