International Affairs Department

Core Functions

  • To liaise with regulatory/statutory bodies;
  • To work as coordinating agency for all students registered under collaborative arrangements with foreign higher education institutions.
  • To address matters related to Indian /Foreign students proceeding abroad to foreign institutions/incoming to Amity under collaborative arrangements;
  • To maintain records and disseminate information related to international collaborations;
  • To work as the nodal agency for foreign students and coordinate all matters relating to welcoming and supporting foreign students;
  • To engage in promotional activities and brand building campaign in India & abroad.

Global Engagements

  • Segregating World into various regions of priority and identifying relevant & top ranked universities.
  • Approaching & engaging identified universities for a meaningful dialogue & initiating discussion for bilateral cooperation.
  • Identifying areas of partnership & joint cooperation with the identified International Organization, Universities and Institutions.
  • Facilitate finalization and signing of MoUs with International organizations and educational Institutions & universities and maintain records for the same.
  • Follow-up on implementation of MoUs with Internal departmental heads/ representatives.
  • Organizing visits and maintaining records for the same.

Internationalization

  • Facilitate bidding for International Projects.
  • Facilitate student exchange and maintain records.
  • Counsel students for Higher Education for Partner Universities
  • Supplying and assisting in SAP/3C programs by issuing Visas letter for faculty members & students.
  • Maintaining of relationship with all Embassies and High Commissions participating inviting diplomats in various events as per invitations & objectives respectively.
  • Organizing AIC Lectures in a month

We congratulate Amity students for their professional presentations and innovative designs in UQ Engineering Design Hackathon 2020 organized by The University of Queensland, Australia. “The judges were extremely impressed with the high calibre of the design projects that were presented at the Hackathon. The teams were challenged to pitch their idea to the judges in a tight timeframe of only 5 minutes, and were still able to clearly present their design ideas and show a tremendous amount of information in the time allowed.”
