 Amity Center for Medicinal Plants & Traditional Knowledge department organized a Plantation Drive near Sports Ground at Amity University Gurugram. The event was graced by  Prof. (Dr.) P.B. Sharma Honorable Vice Chancellor, Amity University Haryana & Maj Gen (Retd.) B S Suhag Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Haryana. The main aim of the plantation drive was to to create an awareness regarding environmental protection amongst the AUH staff and students.

The event saw an overwhelming response from the faculty, staff and students and all participated with great enthusiasm in planting more than 500 trees such as Peepal, Neem etc. The event was successful in sensitizing the students about the importance of plants in controlling environmental pollution and providing oxygen which is vital for human survival and a leading a healthy life.
