13 member delegations including 10 students from Florida International University USA visited Amity Gurugram for an intellectually stimulating student-centric seminar to deliberate on the “Women Empowerment through Social Enterprise.

The objective of this event was to create a platform forAmity University Gurugram faculty members and students to interact with academician and students from prestigious foreign universities across the globe to learn the best practices, exchange ideas and to explore collaboration opportunities for joint research & projects.

Prof. David Wernick, Ph.D., from the Department of Management & International Business, Florida International University, shared American perspective on the theme and highlighted that various complex issues pertaining to women empowerment can be addressed with professional training and education. He also invited amity students to join the FIU initiatives in the remote village of India where they are working jointly with women cooperatives to bring about a change in their lives.
