Program Highlights

Students can take four required courses (8 units total) per semester, and/or other electives from nine program areas to earn professional certificates, or professional diploma certificate in any of the nine fields.

Students study for one or two semesters with Berkeley Haas professors in the areas of marketing, leardership, entrepreneurship and/or finance. Study will be in classes with other Berkeley students, on Berkeley campus. Students will complete 12-15 units per semester, and receive transcripts for credit transfer and certificate upon program completion.

Students study for one semester with Berkeley Law School professors in the Legal Studies major studying subjects like immigration, copyright, public policy, etc. Study will be in classes with other Berkeley undergraduate students, on Berkeley campus. Students will complete 12-15 units per semester, and receive a transcript for credit transfer and certificate upon program completion.

Students study for one or two semesters with Berkeley Physics professors in subjects like quantum mechanics, atomic physics, solid state physics, biophysics, string theory, cosmology, thermal and statistical physics, etc. Study will be in classes with other Berkeley undergraduate students, on Berkeley campus. Students will complete 12 units per semester, and receive a transcript for credit transfer and certificate upon program completion.

Students can choose available classes from any department or school at Berkeley. Study will be in classes with other Berkeley students, on Berkeley campus. Students will complete 12 - 18 units per semester, and receive transcripts for credit transfer.
