Amity university Jharkhand, 25/02/2018: Amity University Jharkhand organized an Industrial visit for BBA, fourth semester students to Jindal Steel And Power Located At Patratu. The main objective of this visit was to make students aware about various activities related to Marketing, Financing and Human Resource. The students were provided with an overall view about how the company actually started.

As soon as they reached they were guided to the meeting hall where they were given description about the company and its establishment. Mr. Amit Kumar (Assistant Manager, HR) gave an introduction about Jindal Group. He explained the purpose of the visit, how students shall visit the campus, what is the modus operandi.

Mr. K. Prasad (section in charge) told about the general management and process of steel industry as a whole, industrial relations, nature of employment, students career, internship.

After introduction all students were given safety advisory at the plant by the safety instructor.

Next they were divided into two groups of 17 and were headed to the rolling mill to know about the production of ropes through steel.

It took almost an hour to see the complete set of production and which was followed by questions from students. The staff members patiently provided well explained and detailed answers to all the queries of the students.

The students extended their gratitude to the company for the permission and support they gave to make the visit a success with accomplishment of objective and thanked Prof. (Dr.) Ajit .Kr. Pandey (Director Amity university Jharkhand) for arranging the fruitful visit.
