With the blessings of our revered Founder President Dr. Ashok K Chauhan Sir, Honorable President Dr. Atul Chauhan Sir and Respected Sr. Vice President Shri U. Ramachandran Sir, AGBS Bhubaneswar conducted its Concluding Ceremony for the Class of 2018 on 17th May, 2018.

The ceremony saw the end of a wonderful journey as a student and marked the beginning of a yet another great journey as a Practitioner in the Corporate World.

The ceremony was formally inaugurated by lighting of the lamp.

Prof. Debasish Rout welcomed the students formally on the behalf of the campus and also wished them a great future.

Dr. Ranjan Kantha, Dean of the Campus conveyed the blessings our Honorable Founder President, Dr. Ashok K Chauhan Sir, Respected President and Chancellor Amity University, Dr. Atul Chauhan Sir and our beloved Shri U. Ramachandran Sir, Sr. VP and Head of AGBS campuses and expressed his sense of gratitude to them for all support, motivation and encouragement. He talked about the five basic elements of being successful – Value Addition, Teamwork, Human Values, Integrity to work and Dedication towards family especially to parents. He congratulated the students for their success and also urged the students to imbibe the values of Amity wherever they go and spread happiness all over.

This was followed by the address of the Chief Guest Shri Subhash Jagota. He congratulated the student son their success and asked them to follow the footprints of our beloved Founder President Sir. He congratulated all the students for the successful completion of their degree and wished them a bright future. He advised the students to identify their strengths and make the ultimate use of it. He also suggested the students to update themselves with the latest trends so that they can make themselves industry fit.

Dr. Chakradhar Satpathy,Director – Amity Humanity Foundation, Bhubaneswar addressed the gathering with his inspiring words and blessed the students for their bright future. In his speech Dr. Satapathy highlighted on the importance of honesty in ones’ personal and professional life.

The passing out students were awarded for the meritorious and scholarly contributions during the Academic Period – Batch (2016 – 18) for MBAs and Batch (2015 – 18) for BBAs. The MBA and the BBA students were then awarded their certificates. The Area Merit Awards, Non Academic Awards and Salvers and Citations were also presented to the students and it was a moment of glory and happiness for the students. The most prestigious Award – “Shri Baljit Shastri Award for the Best in Human & Traditional Values” was conferred to Ms. Nafia Atam from MBA(BM) Ms. Pootul Biswas from BBA.

The message from our Beloved President Dr. Atul Chauhan Sir was read out by Prof. Ashamayee Mishra.

The program concluded with National Anthem and group photograph followed by delicious Hi-Tea.
