Amity University Madhya Pradesh organizes Tech Festival "AAROH 2016"

Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh Gwalior organized the AUMP Tech festival “AAROH 2016” on 25 and 26 February 2016 in its campus at Maharajpura, Gwalior. The objectives of the Tech Fest were manifold: to bring together the students from diverse fields, to promote innovative ideas and to facilitate inter-disciplinary exchange of ideas and information.

The Tech Fest was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. V. K. Sharma, AVSM (Retd). Theevents on the first day were a judicious mix of knowledge, skills & funlike, Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Model Making, Robotica (LineFollower), Logo Designing, Photography, Collage Making, Treasure Hunt, CaseStudy, Soap Carving, and Technical Quiz etc.

The zeal and enthusiasm continued on the second day also. The events that made the Amity Campus come alive with fun were Technical Paper Presentation, Paper Costume Design, Software Designing, Web Designing, Counter Strike (War Zone), NFS, Soap Carving, Treasure Hunt and Robotics etc. The two day fest concluded with a DJ night in which all the students participated with vigour and energy.

Approximately one thousand students from different colleges like ITM University, Prestige Management College, and schools like LAHS participated in the events. At the end of the Tech Fest AAROH prizes worth Rs. One Lakh and appreciation certificates were distributed to the participants by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor and HoIs of AUMP. The Dean (Academics), Registrar, Director (Administration), Heads of Schools, faculty members, staff members and students were present on the occasion. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Manisha Jain, Asst. Prof (Mathematics).

The programme was spear headed by Prof. (Dr.) M. P. Kaushik, Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor and Prof (Dr.) Anshul Gangele, off. Deputy Director and Head of Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Pankaj Kumar Mishra, Asst. Professor, Applied Physics, and Dr. Manisha Jain, Asst. Professor, Mathematics were the Conveners of the programme
