Amity, Chandigarh as a proud partner of CII-Yi (Chandigarh Chapter) student net organized a successful Blood donation camp as a part of “Health week Celebration” on 21st September, 2010 at CII Headquarters, Sector 31, Chandigarh.

Students across BBA and MBA specialization of AGBS Chandigarh participated actively in the camp, thus increasing the overall enthusiasm. They queued up and waited patiently while the doctor did the preliminary checking.

For many students it was the first experience of donating blood, so a sense of satisfaction was clearly visible as they were contributing towards a noble cause. All those who donated blood were awarded with certificates and towels as token of appreciation. This noble cause received overwhelming response from most of the students and faculty members.
CII-Yi (Chandigarh Chapter) Chairman: Namita Mahajan visited the camp and spent some time with the students. She took special interest as she herself sincerely supports this cause.Thus the blood donation camp also received the huge number of donated units.

These blood units will be kept in Rotary Blood Bank for the use of poor and needy people from different Government run and private hospitals.
