NVH India is an automotive ancillary unit. Its situated in Sipcot, Sriperumbadur, which is presently a supplier of Hyundai. It started its operations in Nov ‘07. It manufactures components to curtail noise vibration and harshness in automobile, specifically i10 and i20.

Firstly, Mr. Kumar, Head of H.R dept. briefed us on the history of the company, which was followed by a short presentation on the working of the company.
Later, we had an informative tour of the factory premises. We had an interesting interaction with the workers giving us enough ideas as to how the process is initiated till the last step discussing about the scrap components.

The company has had a hassle free league in achieving all the 3 certification at one go, i.e OHSAS-18001, FOR SAFETY, TS-16949, FOR QUALITY,EMS-14001, FOR ENVIRONMENT.
This certificates are valid for 3 years, post which a process of re-certification becomes compulsory.

This was a phenomenal experience in terms of direct awareness about the working of the company, its output in relevance to administration and production. Overall, It was in the end a rehearsal for us to enter the corporate world.
