The scintillating Concluding Ceremony held on 30 May 2014, saw Amity Chennai present the certificates to the young and successful students of the MBA with BBA class of 2014. Dr. Vengadamani, Dean, AGBS Chennai, delivered a warm welcome address to the august gathering which filled them with pride and inspiration. She commenced her welcome speech by conveying the blessings of the Founder President respected, Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Honorable President Sir, Shri Atul Chauhan and Vice President, Mr. U. Ramachandran, Head AGBS Campuses; which was followed with aprayer song invoking the blessings of the lord Shri Vinayka.This was followed by an inspiring address by Dr. E. Ilamathian, Director Amity Global Business School, Chennai stressing on the metamorphosis of a young student to a business professional during their course of study at Amity.

The presentation ceremony was kindly graced by Dr. TR Venkatesh,Director General AGBS who was the chief guest and presided over the function, alongwith Dr. E.Ilamathian and Dr. Vengadamani.

The awards were given for both academic and non-academic categories: Area Merit awards were also distributed for Behavioural Science, Finance, Human resources, Marketing,Operations management, International Business; Non-area merit awards were in sports, extra-curricular activities, best mentor, and corporate relations.

The coveted salvers, for “Shri Baljit Shastri” award and ‘Best in Human and Traditional Values’, went to Ms. Monica: the ‘Best in Interpersonal Skills and Team Spirit’ to Mr. K. Kandesh Kumar; ‘Best in Personality Enhancement’ to Mr. G. Rajesh and ‘The All Round Best Student Award’ again went to Ms. Monica.

The concluding address by Dr. TR Venkatesh, conveyed the focal points on ensuring a smooth transition from student life to a fulfilling corporate career which won the hearts of the student audience.

The compliments and blessings of our Honorable President Shri Atul Chauhan ji in a message were duly conveyed to the successful participants of the programs.

Students were also invited to share their unforgettable and happy moments in their academic journey at the institution.
