It was a memorable day for Amity, when International Cricketer and member of Indian National Cricket Team Mr. Rudra Pratap Singh visited Amity University to interact with Amitians and share his experiences. Thousands of students thronged to catch a glimpse of R. P Singh’s captivating charisma. It was a real treat for cricket lovers to watch pacer Rudra Pratap Singh amidst students.

He shared his thoughts with students regarding his preparations for upcoming Irani Cup, his career plans, importance of hard work, his experience working with different international players including Brian Lara, influence of politics on cricket and various interesting incidents while playing cricket against other countries.

On being questioned by students as to how he felt playing under the captainship of Dhoni, he replied it’s good to play under a very young captain. Students desperately tried to probe into his personal and professional life by asking questions like who is his favorite batsman, which style of balling he preferred the most and young girls asking about his marriage plans, to which he quickly replied December, 2009.

Rudra Pratap Singh is pursuing MBA from Amity School of Distance Learning, Amity University, Lucknow.
