Amity University Jharkhand organized a visit of Biotech students to RIMS Oncology and Microbiology Department. The students of B.Tech(Sem-V) & B.Sc(Sem-III) Biotechnology of Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University Jharkhand, visited the different departments of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences(RIMS), Ranchi. Students of Biotech were specifically attracted about the latest technology developed in the field of Microbiology, Cancer Biology, Radiotherapy and Molecular Biology Research.
Professor and Head of Microbiology- Dr. Manoj Kumar of RIMS and his team members practically demonstrated all the Techniques in the field of Cancer Biology Microbiology developed by their Lab. The spokesman of Amity pointed that the knowledge, experience and observation gained by students at RIMS Oncology Department by the active leadership of Dr. Anup Kumar, Head of Oncology and his team would be helpful and beneficial to go one step ahead for their future.
Prof.(Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand, Ranchi gave special wishes to all the students. Amity University Jharkhand- Director Dr. Ajit Kr. Pandey congratulated all the students for their excellence performance and active participation at RIMS. Registrar- Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi gave special wishes to all the candidates.
During the Visit, Students learned the different treatment options of Cancer and how to diagnose cancer through different screening. The RIMS visit was successfully organized by the active participation and leadership of Amity Institute of Biotechnology and department assured that in future also this type of outbound activity will be organized.
