 Amity University Jharkhand organized a Guest Lecture on Data–driven Innovation and Artificial Intelligence in association with Cyber Peace Foundation.

Amity Institute of Information Technology (Amity University Jharkhand), in association with Cyber peace Foundation, organized a Guest Lecture on Data – driven Innovation and Artificial Intelligence. The objective of the event was to form a long term association in the field of research and innovation by involving the students in live projects being run at their centres.

The inaugural session started with the National Anthem followed by the lighting of lamp by the dignitaries and guests. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Mr.Vineet Kumar, Founder and President(Cyber Peace Foundation), Mr. Krish Das, Assistant Public Affairs Officer at US-Consulate in Kolkata, Ms.Syeda Sadia Azim, Foreign Policy and Public Affairs Specialist at the American Centre, Kolkata. Prof.( Dr.)Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director of Amity University, Jharkhand graced the event with his motivational speech in which he said “ Data driven Innovation and Artificial Intelligence has gained much importance in the last decade.” He also said that invention and innovation are two forces that lead to success of man-kind.

 Mr. Daniel Castro, Vice-President, Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), Kolkata, gave a lecture on a variety of issues related to Information Technology and internet policy including open data, privacy, security, intellectual property, internet governance, and e-government. He also discussed the issue of enabling the next wave of digital innovation.

The event was a great success and ended with a Vote of Thanks.
