 Amity Research Centre inaugurated at Amity University Jharkhand

‘Ask the right questions, and nature will open the doors to her secrets’, said the Noble laureate Dr. CV Raman. Amity University Jharkhand in its constant endeavor to promote quality research, opened the doors of Amity Research Centre, a place dedicated to produce quality research work by faculty members of AUJ. The establishment of Research Centre is a sincere mark of encouragement from the higher authorities to motivate the faculty members to devote quality time towards research work.

The inauguration of Amity Research Centre started with the lighting of the knowledge lamp by the distinguished guest, Principal Scientist (rtd.), Dr. Swapan Kr Laha, Central Institute of Mining & Fuel Research, honourable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, , Amity University Jharkhand, Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand and other dignitaries present there.

Dr. Swapan Kr Laha, Principal Scientist(rtd.), Central Institute of Mining & Fuel Research, addressed the audience with his insightful words and shared his practical experiences.He said that, “There is no shortcut for good research. It requires hard work and endless toil. The researcher should be serious about the topic and go through the resources of a good library and devote at least two to three hours each day for research.”

Thereafter,Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor Amity University Jharkhand addressed the audience by saying, “We are all taking an initiative to make AUJ a research driven University.Our research committee is planning to raise funds for book publishing and also provide incentives for publication in order to encourage quality research.”

Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand added on by saying “Research requires dedication, motivation, and an academic orientation. Unless it is done with such efforts we cannot bring positive change in the society”

The inauguration ceremony ended with a Vote of Thanks proposed by the convener, wherein all members of Amity family were thanked for their constant support.
