Amity Pune - Concluding Ceremony 2019
Introduction:
Concluding Ceremony for passing out batches of MBA ( 2017-19) & BBA(2016-19) was organized at Amity Global Business School, Pune on 2nd May, 2019 as per the time honored tradition of Amity University. Concluding Ceremony is an exceptional day in the academic calendar of Amity University. It scripts the height of a phase of wisdom. It is a day full of joy, a day about pride and accomplishment and a day of celebration. It fills the heart with mixed feelings of fulfillment, sadness, anxiety and eagerness. It’s time to say goodbye to the comfortable and secure life within college walls & get ready to experience the challenging and rewarding corporate life. The attachment between the teachers and student that is supposed to have been built through years of mentoring bring in a touching content to the concluding day.
Conduct of the function:
Col (Dr.) SV Sharma, Director General, AGBS Pune welcomed and introduced Chief Guest or honorable Shri U. Ramachandran, Sr. Vice President AMITY, followed by Shri Arvind Jain (Chairperson and MD Pride Group Pune) and Major Vinod John (Retd.) Deputy Director (Academics) Amity. He also welcomed all the passing out students. He on behalf of the Amity, Pune family delivered the welcome speech. He applauded students for their accomplishments , read out the academic and non academic performance record of the Batch and wished them to make advancement in life and be brand ambassadors of the institute to enhance the brand equity of the brand ‘Amity’. He conveyed the best wishes and blessings of our Honorable Founder President, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Respected President Dr. Atul Chauhan and our beloved Shri U. Ramachandran, Sr. Vice President, Head AGBS National campuses. He also shared his thoughts with students and directed them for their future prospect and assured them of long term relation with the institute. He inspired students to be great human being and follow ethics in future endeavors.
Shri U. Ramamchandran was felicitated and delivered his address by encouraging students to desire and accomplish high target in life. He emphasized on remembering the almighty and never forget the efforts and hard ship made by parents. He assured students that AMITY will always be there, whenever they need and they can come back to their AMITY family. He also shared the vision of our Honorable Founder President, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan and Respected President Dr. Atul Chauhan. He communicated the blessing of Dr. Ashok Chauhan and shared his story of building a empire of AMITY –a motivation in itself.
After the mesmerizing speech the Post Graduate Program in Management and the Provisional MBA certificates were awarded to MBA students, and the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Provisional BBA certificates were conferred to BBA final year students by the Chief Guest Mr. Ramachandran Sr. Vice President AMITY, Maj John Deputy Director (Academics) Amity, Mr Arvind Jain (Chairperson and MD Pride Group Pune), Col (Dr.) SV Sharma, Director General; Dr. Dipti Tulpule, Asst Dean; Faculty members and staff members. Later on, Area Merit awards and non – academic awards were presented to deserving students of BBA and MBA. A special category award was given to a student from BBA and MBA class for outstanding contribution for the overall development of the institute. Salvers and citations were given in different categories such as Leadership qualities, Interpersonal Skills and team spirit, Summer project, Personality enhancement to the sincere and deserving students those proved excellence in their respective field of activities.
After the distribution of the awards, the student representatives from BBA and MBA had shared their journey and experience with the audience. The message from our beloved President, Dr. Atul Chauhan, was readout by Prof. Eva Saxena; stirring message of the Chancellor had stimulated student and staff members of AGBS, Pune.
It was followed by Vote of thanks by Prof. Swati John. The program ended with the National anthem as per the Amity tradition. Group photo session was conducted at the end, to capture the memorable moments of success and achievements. It was followed by scrumptious diner.
