Amity Law School organised blood donation camp at the Yasho Bhawan campus on Thursday, January 18, 2007. This was the third time that Amity Law School and Rotary Blood Bank come together for organizing a voluntary Blood Donation Camp. In the first camp of such kind in November 2004, around 95 units of Blood were collected. The number rose to more than 100 units in November 2005. This time in January 2007, around 60 units of blood was collected.

The donors were mainly the students of Amity Law School and Amity Physiotherapy College. The students are quite aware of the importance of Blood Donation Camp and some counseling from Dr. Rakesh Dullu of the Rotary Blood Bank and Mr. Risham Garg, Lecturer, Amity Law School, who has been arranging this camp for the last three years, saw students signing up in large numbers for the camp.

Due to the strict norms of the Rotary Blood Bank people below the age of 18 yrs and with less than 12.5 % Haemoglobin were not allowed to donate blood. Similarly people on medication or having suffered from any disease within the last three months as also having donated blood in the last three months were refused for blood donations.

The blessings of the President, Amity Law School and Founder President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, the Director, Amity Law School, Prof. M.K. Balachandran and the enthusiasm of the students made the Blood Donation Camp a great success.
