Industrial Visit to Ozone Pharmaceutical
Amity Medical School organized an industrial visit to Ozone Pharmaceutical (Clinical Research Organization) Ltd. on 12th December 2022. The session's keynote speaker was Dr. Som Singh, G.M. Technical, OZONE Pharmaceutical (Clinical Research Organization) Ltd., Gurugram. The programme coordinators were Dr. Girija Kumari, Assistant Professor & Program Coordinator Department of Clinical Research, AMS.
Dr. Som Singh G.M Technical served as the keynote speaker and provided an introduction to OZONE Pharmaceutical Ltd and its many clinical and pharmaceutical research divisions. Students were taken by the firm on a field trip to OZONE Pharmaceutical Ltd's pharmaceutics and analytical research facilities to learn more about the testing of pharmaceuticals used in daily life and clinical research. a quick presentation regarding the newest instrumentation facilities in their laboratory for testing drugs and food products was made during a small meeting session with Dr. Som Singh, G.M. Technical.
Dr. Kritika talked with the students and engaged them in conversation on the most recent pharmaceutical research studies. Mr. Abhishak (a laboratory scientist) and his group had discussions while touring OZONE Pharmaceutical's various divisions. They emphasised on the responsibilities of laboratory scientists and CRCs in clinical research projects as well as the knowledge and abilities needed to become an expert in clinical research. These interactions really benefited the students and helped them with their questions. Students also went to the sample distribution and collecting location in the middle.
The students gained knowledge about preclinical investigations and trials, drug production, labelling, and packaging, as well as realistic prospects for employment and internships in the future. The pupils also obtained the certificate. clinical research students to interact with clinical research scientists, officers, and associates for the discussion of clinical research's major thrust areas and future opportunities. It also created an open platform for clinical research students to understand the most recent technological developments and methods used in clinical research.
