Dr. CV Singh, Founder Principal,  Rawal International School, Faridabad

Dr. C.V. Singh discussed important points on Education technology, From past 2 years in tough COVID times it is evident that without technology there would have been no education. COVID taught everyone to be adaptive and to be very fast in learning new skills to survive. All teachers, parents, students came on technology without having a proper training in no time. Even hindi, music, art teachers and other staff who were not that tech-savy are now using technology to educate. Now Education has gone global, anyone can study from anyone irrespective of their area, time etc. There are some negatives also, underaged children are now free to use Mobile, internet without any disclaimers, and technology has proven more negative than positive. Holistic development of a child is not happening. At last purpose of learning is happy, healthy, and productive life for which we all stakeholders should strive for.

Ms Poonam Saxena,Principal , Scholars Global School ,Bahadurgarh Technology has helped teachers to enhance pedagogy, they can now have personalised touch with each student with help of many features in technology. Any student can now learn from anywhere at any time. Now learning can continue under all circumstances, continuity can be there no matter what. Assessments are now very easy using many features of Google. Now a student is not restricted to any one teacher/class, they can now learn in their mother tongue also. But nothing can replace physical classrooms. Now teachers must think more on changing pedagogy and student engagement techniques eg – using digital emotions etc. Technologies like Google handout, Breakout rooms are saviours. But at last, there is no replacement to pat on the back of a student by teacher.
