Amity School of Communication Lucknow in partnership with UNICEF Uttar Pradesh organized third virtual panel discussion on Learning During The Pandemic- Exposing The Digital Divide for students through online mode.
The panelists for the session were: Mr. Pankaj Pachauri (Founder, Go News India), Ms. Lalita Pradeep (Director, SIET, UP) and Dr. Pradeep Nair (Professor and Dean, School of Journalism, Mass Communication & New Media, Central University of Himachal Pradesh). The objective of the discussion was to raise awareness about the Inequalities faced by students, teachers and families trying to learn online, Use of EdTech in Indian Educational Institutes, Socio-Economic conditions and deepening of Educational Digital Divide and Post-COVID Indian Education System Plan.
During pandemic, the digital divide in the education system deepened exposing the disparities in the education system. The discussion was attended by 160 participants and was moderated by Ms. Alisha Syedain, Assistant Professor, Amity School of Communication Lucknow.
