Amity University Jharkhand Signed an MoU with Heartfulness Education Trust
Ranchi, 27/10/2021: Amity University, Jharkhand celebrated the International Peace Day and United Nations Day by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Heartfulness Education Trust (HET) on Wednesday. The event was a part of ‘Toast for Peace’ conducted by Amity Institute of English Studies and Research.
Notably, HET is a not-for-profit organization registered in India with the vision that effective way to transform society in a generation is by re-imagining, re-thinking education and equipping school leaders, teachers and students with tools and techniques for personal transformation and holistic development.
Dr. Manoj Tiwari, Co-promoter, and Director, Samadhan (Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for ERP) practicing Heartfulness since 2000 cum Heartfulness trainer since 2006 said, “The pandemic made everyone realise and understand the necessities of life and meditation did play an important role in healing.”
Prof. Dr. Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University, Jharkhand said that one must discard luxuries and facilities and provide them to those who have not tasted or experienced luxury to bring peace.
