Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh Gwalior organized an online National level Webinar titled “Level Webinar on Cyber Security Awareness “21st OCT 2021 (Thursday) 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The talk was delivered by eminent speaker Mr. Rakshit Tandon
Director Hackershala, Head Capacity Building - Cyber Peace Foundation.
The webinar emphasized on the potential thrust areas like various nuances of cybercrimes, thus stressing on the need for online safety. Crime Awareness and sensitization towards online safety, Cyber Crime Investigations, Dark Web Investigations, Open Source Intelligence, discuss about cyber security detection and prevention tolls and tips like: Social Media Crimes and Investigations, Online Frauds, Online Crimes Against Women and Children and their prevention, CDR/IPDR Analysis, Investigations on Online Human Trafficking, Combatting Cyber Terrorism Cyber & Mobile Intelligence in Investigations, Cyber & Mobile Forensics, VOIP Calls Investigation. The webinar was organized on online Zoom platform with an objective to meet the learning objectives of cyber security tips and tools.

The session was moderated by Dr. Deepak Motwani, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and hosted by Dr. Madhavi Dhingra, Assistant Professor, CSE. She initiated the session by extending formal welcome to all the participants, the speaker Mr Rakshit Tandon, and Maj Gen (Dr) SC Jain, VSM** (Retd) Director ASET. She gave introduction of speaker to the participants.
Opening Remarks of the session were given by Maj Gen (Dr) SC Jain, VSM** (Retd) Director ASET. Mr Rakshit Tandon initiated his session by giving introduction with live online demonstration of Cyber Security tools. Further, he progressed his talk by discussing Cyber Security Skills need, for industry from a CS and IT perspective. The webinar was followed by question answer session which was taken up by Dr. Deepak Motwani, coordinator of the event. The summary of event and Vote of Thanks were delivered by Prof (Dr). Venkatadri M, Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The event was supported by Panel list Maj Gen (Dr) SC Jain, VSM** (Retd) Director ASET. Webinar was appreciated by all the participants.
