Amity University Jharkhand organized an online Tech-Festival, “AMITECH-2021” to celebrate National Technology Day on 11th May 2021. The aim of this festival was to connect the students with their extra-curricular activities.
Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor Amity University Jharkhand, Prof.(Dr.)Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand, Mr. Prabhakar, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand and whole Amity members welcomed Mr.Amar Jha, MD &CEO at SkillYatra, Ex CEO JSDM as the guest speaker for the day.
The Tech- Festival consisted of events like Guest Lecture, Quiz Competition, Poster Presentation, Alumni Speech and Photography and Reel Competition.
The event started with the National Anthem, offering tribute to our warriors who are risking their lives outside. It was followed by a speech by the Chief Guest, Mr.Amar Jha, who addressed the gathering by talking about Vaccine as a gift of technology on this National Technology Day. He also talked about Personal Branding which basically represents yourself to the world with unique combination of Potential, Skills and Experience, and it only differentiate us from other people in the world. If we do not create our own brand, somebody else will do. At last, he also explained about 5 ‘Ps’ of Personal Branding that is- Product, Perception, Positioning, Packaging and Potential.
Thereafter, the Vice Chancellor of the University addressed the audience by saying that it is technology and its upgradation where problems are being solved through technology and this technology should be used in positive way to hit the target. He urged us to be at the giving end and not only on the receiving end and said, “give your potential to make the thing happen in a smooth way through least efforts”.
The Director of the University delivered the speech about the topic, he said that we survive in very restricted and limited resources and our goals are unlimited; to meet this huge gap Technology has potential to upgrade our system.
The Registrar of the University talked about National Technology Day and participation of India where it played an important role in multi-dimensional development where he said that Science and Technology is for sustainable future.
The event ended with a vote of thanks by the Convenor and all the members of Amity University Jharkhand were thanked for participating actively in this event.
