Amity Institute of Information Technology organized a guest lecture on “Summarization System”.The guest was Dr. Sriparna Shah, Associate Professor, IIT Patna.

Dr. Shah started her lecture by explaining the Summarization System. She explained that the Summarization System generates condensed outputs that convey important information contained in one or more sources for particular users and tasks.
She discussed different quality measures of the Simulation system like the length of sentence, the position of a sentence in the document, and many more.

The session was actively participated by the students of BCA and MCA. They interacted with the speaker by asking questions which was very nicely explained by her. The session was highly informative and helpful for the students.
