Though countries do face complex nature of environmental issues while implementing developmental projects yet conservation of natural resources is prerequisite to sustainable development. The global interest in forestry is the result of environmental awareness in general.

Release of study material

There are many international conventions/agreements on environment. International negotiations have direct impact on management of forests and local life style. What are the effects of these international instruments? Thus there is need for continuously updating ourselves with international treaties, agreements, etc.
