The Telecommunication Lab describes and applies fundamentals of telecommunication systems and associated technologies. This lab applies the principles of queuing theory in evaluating the performance of congested telecommunication systems. This lab is useful for solving problems and design simple systems related to tele-traffic. The telecommunication switching lab makes us understand and explain the reasons for switching and the relative merits of the possible switching modes, e.g. packet and circuit switching. Students get hands on experience of a automatic branch exchange where they actually study and analyze the telephone link setup.
