About Us
Amity University Uttar Pradesh is organizing its 2nd International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Business Development (ICESBD - 2024) from 6th to 7th February 2024, at Noida campus in hybrid mode. A case study competition is being organized around the conference theme with the goal of assisting students and practitioners gain a broader perspective on the application of management concepts in making business decisions.
In an era where businesses are not only drivers of economic progress but also agents of change, this case study competition seeks to uncover the synergy between entrepreneurship and sustainable business development. This will serve as a melting pot of ideas, insights, and inspiration, bringing together students from around the world.
At the core of this competition lies the understanding that entrepreneurial spirit can be a driving force for positive change, especially when coupled with a deep commitment to sustainability. The competition will delve into the ways in which innovative entrepreneurs and forward thinking businesses are shaping a world where profitability and responsible practices coexist harmoniously. Together, we will navigate the evolving landscape of business, exploring strategies for sustainable growth, responsible entrepreneurship, and effective business development
This case study competition is not just about ideas; it's about translating those ideas into actions that have a lasting impact.
CALL FOR CASES
Unpublished abstracts and cases based on original primary and secondary research are invited.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
- Student entrepreneurs engaged in start-ups.
- Student entrepreneurs running social ventures, family business, non-government organizations across functional areas/ domains.
- Amity Alumni who have their own start-up or ventures.
- Students in partnership with entrepreneurs across functional areas/domains.
- UG or PG Student from any domain/institute/university.
TEAM SIZE
Participants can choose to participate individually or in a team of two or three.

SECOND PAGE
- Abstract
- Abstract for 500 words with 4-5 keywords, with a page break followed by complete case.
THIRD PAGE
- The complete case should have the following heads. However, these headers are only Suggestive.
- Clear purpose of the case
- Sector and/or Functional Area in which the case is written.
- Storyline of the Company/Start-up/ Business etc.
- Major Milestones, Challenges, Cheer Points, Landmark or
- Findings (if any)
- Business model (used/derived/made, if any) or research methodology used (if any),
- Future of scaling business and implications
- Learnings and reflections from the entrepreneurial experience
SUBMISSION FORMAT
- The Complete text should be in between 4000-6000 words inclusive of tables and annexures
- A-4 size paper setting on Microsoft word,
- Font size 12,
- Times New Roman,
- 5-line spacing submitted in MS-word.
Short listed cases will get an opportunity to present their cases in front of a panel of judges, which will include senior executives from leading corporations and academicians.

Publication Benefit:All selected case studies will be published in the edited book with an ISBN number, subject to copyright form duly signed and submit after the acceptance of the case study.
