1. What is Vocational Course ?

A Vocational course will give students skills so that they can get employment or become self employed in a particular profession or trade.

Vocational Education prepares students for careers that are based on practical activities related to some trade or profession. It helps develop expertise or technology in student in that trade or profession.

2. For whom are these courses meant?

The courses are for those who have completed 12th Standard or are graduates, as applicable, without the long period of time and expenses needed to undergo a complete degree or post graduate degree course.

The courses will commence in July 2007.

We have arranged tie-ups for Diploma in Travel and Tourism and Airline Ticketing & Travel.

7.Why should I undertake examinations conducted by international institutions ?

Examinations conducted by internationally renowned institutes will provide you with certification that is recognized internationally and will thus also provide you with an opportunity to work abroad. It certifies the high standard that you achieve and is well recognized in India also.

8. Will jobs be arranged after the course?

Yes.

9. Is hostel accommodation available?

Hostel accommodation is available at prescribed charges.

10. Where can I buy the Application Form?

You can buy the Application Form costing Rs 100/- from:

You can also download the form online at www.amity.edu/aivit. You will be required to deposit Rs 100/- in cash/by demand draft in favor of Amity Institute of Vocational and Industrial Training along with the Application Form if the same is downloaded by you.

11.Where can I submit the Application Form?

You can submit the form by hand at AIVIT or courier it to Amity institute of Vocational and Industrial Training, Amity Campus, D Block, 2nd Floor, Sector 125, Expressway, Noida 201301, (U.P.)

12. What are the details of scholarship?

Scholarships are available for deserving candidates.

13. What are the number of seats per course?

Each batch will consist of 30 students. There may be more than one batch in a particular course.
