The Amity University logo is represented in a shield divided into dark blue and golden yellow sections by an upward sweeping line that depicts growth and progress in life, achievable through education. While the shield shape represents the resolute shelter of truth, two contrasting yet adjacent colours connote a blend of modernity with tradition.
The dark blue with contemporary cues of technology, performance and advancement strikes a synergy with the golden yellow radiance of tradition, culture and values. The flame represents the purity and passion for knowledge, while the upper and lower parts of the flame replicate the arch of 'A' and the bend of 'U' respectively, the two leading alphabets of Amity University.



About Amity Institute of Social Sciences-

Amity Institute of Social Sciences (AISS) was established in July 2010. Social Sciences explores various aspects of human society. It is commonly used as an umbrella term to refer to a dynamic field outside of the natural sciences. These include: Sociology, Economics, Geography, History, Law, Linguistics, Political Science, Social Work and, in some contexts, Psychology. About Jean Monnet Module Erasmus Plus-

Jean Monnet Activities are designed to promote excellence in teaching and research in the field of European Union studies worldwide. The activities also foster the dialogue between the academic world and policy makers, in particular with the aim of enhancing governance of European Union (EU) policies.

Jawaharlal Nehru University Jean Monnet titled as ‘Institutions, Diversity and Change in the European Union’ under the framework of Erasmus+ Program-Jean Monnet activities-2020, is a project awarded to Dr Sheetal Sharma, Centre of European Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, new Delhi from 2020- 2021 to promote European Studies.

The aim of the conference is to develop an understanding of the dynamics of social change and Development taking place in European and Indian society. Both India and Europe are taking firm strides towards cooperation and development specially in the post- pandemic era. In this context the conference aims in developing on working new path for structuring and building new vision and ideas for strong partnership between the two.

The main objective of the Conference is to deliver new understanding of various issues ranging from society, culture, politics and environment. It shall look into these issues from a different prism in the post pandemic era.

This Conference will deliberate upon many issues pertaining to emerging socio – cultural and political issues and global dynamics in the relationship between Europe and the developing world in three broad areas. Submissions not limited to, revolving around these themes and sub-themes are welcome.

Guidelines for Paper Submission-

The abstract should not exceed 300 words and should include title, background, objectives, methodology and findings/results. The contributors must give name, affiliation, mailing address, e- mail, and mobile number with the abstract.

Contributors must send their full papers not exceeding 6000 words (including bibliography) in MS Word (Word 2007 and above) format with single line spacing, Times New Roman font and font size 12 on a single side paper. The cover page should consist of only the title of the article, names, official addresses, e-mail IDs, phone/fax numbers of the authors, a brief biographical note of the authors and acknowledgements (if any). The first page of the manuscript (after the cover page) should also contain the title, the abstract, and four keywords. Tables and figuresseparately should be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals(e.g. Table 1, Table 2, for tables, and Figure 1, Figure 2 for figures. Tables and figures must be self- contained, in the sense that the reader must be able to understand them without going back to the text of the paper. The list of references should appear at the end of the main text (after any appendices). It should be listed in alphabetical order by author's name. References should be in APA format. The author also needs to send the certificate of originality and consent, which shall be sent to the corresponding author once the paper is accepted.

All the papers will be blind reviewed by a committee of experts with respect to their quality, originality, and relevance. Selected accepted papers recommended by the expert committee will be published in the Conference proceedings provided at least one of the authors will register and present the paper. All rights of publication of papers presented in the conference shall rest with the conference organizers. The last date for submission of abstract is May 10,2021.
