In an effort to inculcate scientific temperament and encourage research & innovation amongst children, as envisaged by Chairperson Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, the school organises Amity Children Science Congress titled Vasudha and Mathamity every alternate year. Under this initiative, children are encouraged to prepare small do-able projects in Science and Maths. The shortlisted projects are then sent for various national and international forums namely National Children Science Congress (NCSC), Initiatives for Research and Innovation in Science (IRIS), CSIR exhibitions and so on.

School organised its annual science exhibition Vasudha - 2020 virtually for the students of Class I-V. Students from Class I-III presented individual Vasudha projects like mini book, museum, 3D models on transportation. Class IV and V students presented group projects based on various themes like our planet, pollution - causes, effects and prevention, ayurveda and health, food production and wastage of food, waste management and segregation with the help of PowerPoint presentations.

School hosted the finale of XIIth ‘Vasudha Inter Amity Science Fair’ held under the aegis of Amity’s Children Science Foundation (ACSF). Total 132 innovative ideas and projects were displayed in the event based on theme ‘Technology Tomorrow’. Gold medal was awarded to Mitul Gupta, Amogh Singh & Anugrah (VII) for project artificial intelligence in face recognition. Navikansh Kaushik, Devansh Bhardwaj, Harshit Joshi, Prabhav Kapoor & Vaibhav Aggarwal (VIII) and Sakshi Mohan (Class IX) bagged silver medals for projects, laser audio communication and estimation of water consumption by house plants using Arduino respectively. Amit RP, Jatin Aharwal & Arush Das (VI), Shashwat Srivastava, Kartik Dua, Aashray Sharma & Jahanvi Pant (IX), Aarushi, Vrinda Sethi, Tanisha & Aarushi Agarwal (X) and Khushboo, Poorva Malik, Bhavya, Ishita & Ojasvini (XI) got bronze medals for projects, extracting DNA from strawberry, smart farming using IOT, detection of lung cancer by VOC sensor and unihanded robot respectively.

Annual math fest ‘Mathamity’ for Class I-V was held in school. Students showcased their models and projects based on topics like use of shapes, Fibonacci series, use of angles, solid shapes, etc.

Manika Mathur and Harshita Jain (Class XI) won gold medal for their project ‘Scrub paper soap’. Silver medals were bagged by Manav Prem (Class VIII) for project ‘Accident averting kit’; Sharanya Chakraborty, Ronit Jain, Venkash Kumar and Anmol Mishra (Class IX) for project ‘Obstacle Detection and avoiding car accident’; Dhruv Kohli, Shashwat Jha and Sparsh Rastogi (Class X) for project ‘Bhumiputra app’. Paritosh Shandilya and Shrey,Tript Narang (Class VII) got bronze medal for their project ‘Advanced speed breaker’ at the finale of 11th Vasudha, Inter-Amity Science Fair. The annual science fair based on theme ‘Green technology and sustainable development’ saw a total of 120 projects from Class VI-XII put on display from across all Amity Group of Schools. School also hosted the finale for Class IX-XII. The competition at the school level was held on August 4, 2018 in which students from primary to senior sections participated and the best selected models then made it for the final round.

School played host to the final round of Vasudha held under the aegis of Amity Children’s Science Foundation. Students of Class IX, X and XI from all Amity schools showcased their Science models and charts which were adjudged by nine judges, from different fields of Science. In Class IX category AIS Gurugram-43 stood first; in Class X category AIS Vasundhara-6 was the winner and in Class XI category AIS Mayur Vihar bagged the first prize.

The school organised first level of Vasudha-Mathamity on August 4, 2018 for the students of Classes VI-XII to promote and nurture scientific temperament amongst children. The event was graced by eminent scientists and professors specializing in various fields as judges. Students displayed research- based projects on a variety of themes to showcase their innovation, critical enquiry and application based pursuit of knowledge through models, games, and projects.

The school organised Mathamity- Vasudha level 1 Science projects exhibition on July 28-29, 2017, to nurture logical and analytical thinking in students. The event provided students a wide platform to showcase their scientific temperament, critical inquiry, analysis, synthesis, and application based pursuit of knowledge through models, games, projects, research papers and slide presentations.

Students showcased science and math projects on the theme light
The projects of Mathamity included a game on integers, a device to prevent upcoming space disasters and a tiny trust bridge that can tolerate up to 800 kg of weight.
The projects under Vasudha exhibition included using lime water and biological waste to purify air, designed glue from thermocol and even worked on weather prediction from clouds and animals. The junior school designed a hydraulic bridge for rescue operations, a capacitor to prevent short-circuiting and many other projects.
